Volunteering always played important part in my life. Initially I used to cope with children and youth at my congregation. In 2002 I became member of the Hungarian St. John Charity Service (HSJCS) and got started working in various fields of charity. From 2006 I am the head of the youth department and I am also a first aid instructor there. From the beginning I am also member of the Working Group Youth of Johanniter International (European organization of the St. John enterprises), while between 2010-2013 I was also a vice-chairman of it. From 2011 I have been employed at HSJCS as a general manager.

In 2008-2009 I completed the EMT training of the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta (HCSM). For some years now I have also been volunteering at the Hungarian National Ambulance Service as an EMT.

As I became involved in the work of HCSM it enabled me to take part in a number of disaster relief trainings and exercises organized by HCSM. During the floods in 2010 in Hungary I also took part in various segments of the work of HCSM. Besides others I was responsible for recruiting and coordinating the volunteers.

In 2013 during the flood of the Danube I was in charge of coordinating the joint work of HCSM and HSJCS in Nagymaros, Pest County. Later, during the reconstruction phase I became co-leader of the joint disaster management office of HCSM and HSJCS, which was opened in Baja, Bács-Kiskun County. I was also responsible for the work with the German Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe regarding the reconstruction work.

I am really looking forward to work together in an international context with the other participants of the EVRECA! project, an enterprise of a great challenge and opportunity.
